PRESS RELEASE
March 7, 2025 – Lemonaid Global, a next-generation executive community built by and for Fortune 1000 and High-Velocity Growth Executives, is proud to announce its partnership with Karen Hung, CEO and Founder of Silver Rock Consulting. Karen will lead Lemonaid’s ‘Path to the Boardroom: Board Readiness and Elevation’ offering, equipping executives with the strategic insights, skills, and frameworks necessary to secure and excel in board roles.
Karen Hung brings decades of experience in business transformation, leadership alignment, and market momentum. As CEO of Silver Rock Consulting, she specializes in co-creating business models and strategies that drive sustainable growth. Her firm has served a diverse client base, including industry leaders such as Ascension Healthcare, Kohler, MetLife, AbbVie, Johnson Controls, and Goodwill Industries.
Before founding Silver Rock, Karen held several executive and C-suite roles, including Senior Vice President and Global Chief Marketing Officer at Lands’ End. She has led global teams in executive capacities across Strategy, Marketing, and Innovation at General Electric, Ann Taylor, and Citigroup. Her extensive leadership experience makes her uniquely qualified to guide executives on their journey to the boardroom.
Karen is an experienced board director, serving on Audit and Compensation Committees for KeHE, a multi-billion dollar PE-backed and ESOP food distributor; a former independent Director at Florence Eiseman Company, an upscale children’s apparel brand; and Ascension Wisconsin healthcare system, where she is Board Secretary, Finance Chair, and Governance Committee member.
Beyond her corporate experience, Karen is a dedicated civic leader. She serves on the Boards of the Harvard Business School Club of Wisconsin as Immediate Past President, the Rotary Club of Milwaukee as Past President, Milwaukee Women Inc. as Vice Chair, and the National Christian Foundation on Governance and Audit Committees. She has also been honored as Board Emeritus for Junior Achievement of Wisconsin and the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, where she previously served as Governance Chair and on the Executive Committee.
In addition to her Board leadership roles, Karen has also led CEO succession in her Board capacities for several entities.
“I’m excited to partner with Lemonaid to help executives navigate the path to board leadership,” said Karen Hung. “Securing a board seat requires more than expertise—it demands strategic positioning, governance acumen, and impactful contribution. Through this offering, we will provide executives with the tools, confidence, and insights to elevate their leadership and successfully step into board roles.”
